Ried / St. Stephan is located in the upper Simmental - right in the heart of the Bernese Oberland. It is the perfect starting point for regions like Lenk/Adelboden and Gstaad Mountain Rides (Zweisimmen, Schönried, Saanenmöser, Glacier 3000)!

All regions are easily reachable in a few minutes by car or by public transportation (MOB station 7 min. walking from the house).

Interesting cities like Berne, Thoune, Lucerne, Interlaken and exiting touristic places like the Jungfrau/Grindelwald/Schilthorn region, the lakes of Thoune, Brienz and Montreux at the Lake of Geneva are easily reachable within 1-2 hours by car or train.
